Kisling, Nestico & Redick Battle Distracted Driving

Every day in the US, about 10 people are killed in crashes that involve a distracted driver. Distracted driving, therefore, takes many forms, including talking to passengers and adjusting a radio station to texting while driving. All these actions are deadly. In 2017 alone, the Ohio State Highway Patrol announced that up to 39 percent of distracted driving led to fatal crashes. Kisling, Nestico & Redick (KNR) is still on a mission of implementing practices that encourage safer roads. The organization is using its Don’t Text and Drive Scholarship to raise awareness. Recently, KNR announced that Elianna Norin had won the $5,000 scholarship for creating the best proposal to help dissuade the youth from texting while driving.

Out of more than 300 applicants, Norin’s idea stood out to the attorneys because of the content of her script. According to the excerpt, as a driver and a passenger start their journey, the driver stops shortly to wear a blindfold for about five seconds. The passenger panics and begins to argue. The camera shifts its focus to show that the driver is looking at their phone. Norin reiterates that practically speaking when you look around at individuals who are driving, texting and driving is the main issue. It’s, therefore, time to reach out to the youth and preach about the dangers of driving and texting.

Established in 2005, Kisling, Nestico & Redick offers injury law representation to its clients in Ohio. The company is a leading personal injury firm in the state. It has an extensive combination of experience in personal service, insurance, and legal service. Currently, the company has 11 locations. What Gave You The Idea For Your Practice

I learned from past experiences that independent practitioners are able to provide legal services to customers that are of the highest quality while keeping prices to a minimum. This theory has proved especially true for businesses that are tech-centered.

What Is A Typical Day Like For you

I begin by handling the issues my clients need to be handled on a daily basis. For the most part, this usually entails counseling them on intellectual property rights and issues and sometimes drafting and reviewing legal agreements.

I usually ride my bike in the afternoon hours and clear my head. I find that this renews my creativity.

Later afternoons and evenings are spent tending to any issues of my clients that have shown themselves throughout the day. View Michael Hagele’s profile at linkedin.com

How Do Your Ideas Become Reality

By fighting and never giving up. Admirable outcomes often develop by simply remaining in the battle until more options become available. These options will never reveal themselves to people that are prone to giving up too soon when things get tough.

Is There A Current Trend That Excites You

One thing that really gets my fire going is the issue of Artificial Intelligence and its potential use for genetic programming. I am both an investor and an advisor to a firm that makes succesful use of this technology. Follow: https://twitter.com/Michael_Hagele_
